Incomplete sentence! - Refrigerant Upgrade Kits

Read All! To connect the hose to a faucet, you need to purchase an additional adapter. I don't understand why anyone would sell a kit without this important part. Nobody can use it without this part!

Part Kit Fits Refrigerant Upgrade Kits

Bulletproof valve worked properly. I had to buy an adapter for the inflation hose to fit the valve. It then became useless when I couldn't connect any of the R134a cans to the other end of the hose. This set is completely useless. Stay away.

Beyond Frenzy! for air conditioning

Why the hell are you selling this as a kit when the jig doesn't even fit the fitting? Completely dissatisfied and now I have to figure out how to adapt the sensor to the line tap connector before I can use it. Looks like a few more days without a fridge. Thanks very much!

  • Great for a small house

more specific! the best of refrigerant retrofit kits

This kit is not required, the parts are easy to install. Once a ball valve is installed after both inserts have been inserted and clamped. I was about to punch a hole and realized the valve connector didn't match the hose. So do I have to order an adapter now and sit without a fridge for another week? Beyond Frenzy! I should have paid more attention to that before buying! SMS

Should have checked carefully

I purchased this option after evaluating buying individual parts for a kit. All the water came out a little before the world that ate it. I decided to pay a little more to buy a full set. I expected to be able to connect one end of the tubing to the piercing valve. To my chagrin, this is not possible without an adapter. Had I known this I would have bought another set or just a piece to assemble.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Interchangeability availability

Great tool and works very well.

Arrived quickly as always. I read the description and bought this R134 adapter in advance. When everything was ready I bought a small can of R134 from a home warehouse for $10 and started the process. It was quite clear that our Kenmore refrigerator was low on refrigerant. While watching the pressure, I slowly accelerated and bingo. Now the refrigerator cools very well and no longer warns of too high a temperature. Great DIY tool and I recommend it to everyone.

  • New
Cons
  • Only available in white

Do you really need the whole set?

I bought the whole kit not just the part that goes for coolant so I have everything I need to refill coolant in our garage fridge myself as it is expensive to have someone which then runs out (and it's just a crappy old fridge for an extra room πŸ˜ŠπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ) and it doesn't have everything you need for that. 🀬 Don't be fooled, if you buy the whole set, it comes with everything you need. It's not like this! It would be better to just find the part I need at an appliance parts store. Just say πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ
