XL stands for "extra long ".

You would expect a garment ordered in size XL to fit a tall man of all sizes. That wasn't the case with these pajama bottoms. In this case, XL only means an extension. They are not wider at the waist and are too tight. For me the pant is 3-4 inches longer than 2-3 inches short at the waist. There wasn't enough elasticity in the waist so it was a waste of money.

What? Sleep & Lounge

My husband has been wearing plus size clothing for 30 years. It weighs less than before. He couldn't even swing those legs around without a fight. boo

This is not the same as the Piero Lusso cotton poplin pajama pants I bought in 2020-01.

The best pair of pajama pants I've found in over four decades is the "Piero Lusso Men's 100% Cotton Poplin Sleepwear Pajama Pants" that I bought in January 2020. They're cool, crisp, comfortable, lightweight, high quality, tightly woven cuffs that stay rolled up exactly the way I rolled them up, even after a year of wear and washing. They are just the right size and length for a tall man and that is the only problem I had. Casual pants that they are not long enough
