I'm new to calligraphy so I buy and try a lot of different pens - dip, ink, markers. This is by far the best pen I've found for what I'm currently doing - practice, practice and practice again. The ink flows very evenly and mostly on command. I have a Rotrig pen with different tips and it always clogs a little or doesn't flow without coaxing.
