Good quality item but probably not dishwasher safe. Four such containers have been found to hold the entire contents of 25 pound bags of white rice or sugar with an open gap of about 1 inch from the top of each can.

They are not as strong as I hoped but they work. I use them to store flour and sugar in the pantry. I haven't dropped one (yet), so I don't know about their longevity. The lids fit well so I'm not worried about freshness.

I have sugar in one and pancake mix in the other. A wide opening is important to scoop out the contents. Printing seems reliable and the cans appear to be well made. As far as I know the plastic is safe and not harmful in any way. Just what I need to store these things!

I originally used glass containers to store pasta but was a bit nervous as they were too heavy for the top shelf of my cupboard. I chose these plastic cans. These glasses are light, strong and perfect for my purposes. They look like glass and blend harmoniously with my other glass storage jars.

Overall this is definitely not what I was looking for in the container I wanted to use for the project. The plastic is very light, the lid of the jar is too big for what I need. While I was specifically looking for a wide mouth opening, the opening is very wide, my entire project could fit in, leaving room for another project. My end goal was to use this for the base of the lamp. The only plus points of these glasses are that they are transparent and very light.

I used these jars to organize a guest vanity in the bathroom. I put travel shampoos and conditioners in one, toothpaste and dental floss in another, lotions, shower gels, etc. They last and look great! My recent guests love the convenience and I love not having to worry about breaking glasses in the bathroom.

I'm always looking for cheap enclosures for my tarantulas. In this case, I was specifically looking for height, not length, since the houses were designed for my tree tarantulas. With my soldering iron (for the air vents) and glue gun. I managed to build amazing houses for them. I highly recommend for those who have a T but are also on a budget.

If like us you have space issues, they fit into a 6" piece of PVC pipe with little friction so they don't slip out easily. A two foot tall piece of PVC with screw caps attached holds three. Store them upright and you'll have plenty of room for pasta and other bulky things we use frequently. One in the kitchen is empty. Insert it back into the tube from the top and push out the bottom end. It's great when bulky items arrive on sale, stock up and save.
