We mainly use these for painting rock and clear gems but my 5 year old came in handy using it to paint precut dollar bill woodwork. to keep. She finds it easier to stay within the lines than colors. These markers are amazing! High quality acrylic, quick drying, excellent coverage. You'll love the variety of colors in this set - it's perfect for any project! They are very easy to use and the paint adheres well to the Santorini stones. I haven't had any dripping or bleeding issues like other pens I've tried in the past. Definitely recommend them! I use PINTAR acrylic pens for painting stones. They are similar to the 5M Posca but the paint is much thicker than the Posca so additional shaking is required. They come in a variety of colors. I don't like comparing such a great pen to another great company but I use Posca pens regularly so I decided to give these pens a try. With such high ratings for these pens and pen sizes. 5m, I thought they would work well for what I use them for. I use them to draw rocks and found the colors to be very similar to Posca's, but they are much smoother, opaque and very similar in color to both Artisians and Posca pens. love these pens! They are easy to use and so far I am very happy with the opacity. I used them on a painting for some line work and they worked great! I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, but they were left in a hot car for a week and performance was not affected.
