Good kit. The written instructions are pretty typical of all things modern (shit), but the blueprints help make things clearer. The details come together well. It's easy to turn on and off. The selling price is too high, but Pioneer has a closed store. If anyone has a better alternative please post.

It took me about 30 seconds to cut two side rails in the car console with a vibrating saw. You can also use a dremel, hacksaw blade or similar as the plastic is quite thin. After trimming, the double din head unit stood without any problems. Although Pioneer says it won't fit the Volvo S40/V40. In less than 30 seconds you can install it.M

1997 Miata Upgrade with Pioneer AVH-2550NEX. However, in the factory configuration, my Miata has a DIN with a pocket under the radio. After removing the bag, the panel is double DIN size BUT it has no support. This ADTVA133 product is GREAT for supporting my new upgraded radio. Follow the diagrams to install and use the radio!

This is a kit for installing a Pioneer 2-DIN car connector. If you are looking to fit a 2 DIN radio and no longer have the original cage, this is for you. There are no other options so there is nothing to compare. It is what it is and if you need it, you have to buy it. Other than that, I have no complaints about it. Even comes with some Ford remote keys which I don't need as I drive a Volvo but still do. You never know if a different Ford will be my next car.

What did I like? It fits in a hole in the dash and installation was easy BUT they only provide four (4) of the required eight (8) screws needed to install the head unit into the bracket(s). Good point, the support people said they would send me some more to install my device. I installed the Pioneer FH-X830BHS head and everything was ready to go except I was missing 4 mounting screws. This is a great panel mounting option, especially in homes/caravans. Although it was designed for Pioneer NEX units I expect it will work with many other models (not even Pioneer). Includes two mounting tabs that attach to the main unit (these screws are not included) and a sleeve that fits into the dual recess. This double tray isn't particularly durable and there's nothing unique about its design, but it got the job done. Pioneer used to ship the tablet with a new head unit if you needed one. The only really annoying issue are the included screws. The assembly instructions clearly require 8 taper head self-tapping screws M6. The parts list says, and the sealed bag only contains 6. I was also provided with a bag of six pan head screws (same thread as the M6 screws) which aren't listed in the parts…
