In the aquarium they appear more black than purple. The pebbles are small and I would say you need at least 3-4 bags per 3 gallon aquarium.

Mix this up with white rocks and it turned out amazing in a 1.8 gallon betta aquarium. Necessary. Definitely looks good in a tank.

The package was opened on the way to my home, small beads were all over the package the box was sent in. Otherwise the product itself looks great. .

The stones were fine but the box (plastic box) was torn in transit and 1/4 of the contents were scattered inside the shipping box. Quite a mess.

I received the package and noticed beads around the box. I knew immediately that they would be everywhere. The product corresponds to the description but the beads in the box have been opened. I ordered all three boxes! Who knows how much I've lost. The product was as described except for the loss of product.

Loved that these rocks are round and smooth and look great in an aquarium. I bought a 2.5 gallon aquarium for my betta and had to use 4 bags of these gems so bear that in mind when purchasing. Be sure to rinse them well before use. I bought the purple gems and they look great in the aquarium.

The stones themselves are solid but the packaging was flimsy. My package was found with all the stones thrown completely out of the box onto the bottom of the bag. I managed to get them all back in, but the box itself doesn't seem to seal very well, and they didn't use tape. Great stones for the price, that's why I gave 3 stars. I was just very disappointed with the condition it found.
