Wrong product. (Guess it doesn't matter since this item now shows as not available.)

Returned the item, because I wanted the clear, colorless stencil sheets shown in the description. I like to use the material as a palette; the bright yellow, opaque sheets I received will distort the colors of transparent paints, and even if I were using it for its intended purpose I would want the transparency of the item as shown. What they sent wasn't even Plaid brand, not that it would have made a difference if it were the same as the description.

Silhouette Cameo Cuts Like Butter With This Stencil Material

I love this stencil material for cutting out stencils with my Silhouette Cameo. The Cameo cuts this material perfectly. Have used other stencil material that the Silhouette Cameo does not like to cut, no matter what cut settings I use. Nice weight to this stencil material, not flimsy at all.

Great product. Shipping was fast.

Product is exactly what I expected. Never tried to make my own stencil before but this is great. I can use the hot knife or Xacto knife, which I think works better because the cut is cleaner for me. I like that it is clear so that I can easily see the underlying object that I want to stencil. Overall a great product.

  • I have a stencil burner. It work wonderfully.

  • I wish they were more sturdy. They cut great with my machine but I expected a sturdier material.

Having some difficulty

I'm having trouble cutting it to make a rounded shape. It's hard so all of my craft and straight knives are having trouble and looking like my hand was shaky when in fact I'm just having to press down really hard to get it to cut. Other than that it's product information is well written. I also should have used a ruler and paid more attention to dimensions. It's smaller than what I had hoped for.

  • The stencil may not be as durable as other stencils on the market, leading to tearing or warping during use
