My grandson's favorite toy!

This is a well made toy that my 9 month old grandson actively uses every day. She will play with him for many months/years to come. She can't handle the hammer in the toy yet, so it will give her a new perspective if she can. Anyway, she likes to play with balls and throw them in and out of the holes. The wooden balls are heavier so if she loses her footing and rolls across the carpet, she won't fly too far. This toy is well designed to be a good investment for future siblings.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Overall excellent quality, sturdy as described

The person who said the bottom is "literally cardboard" is exaggerating. It's chipboard and is pretty strong. Bullets don't get stuck in what was sent to me as some have mentioned. roll out as they should. I am excited to give this toy to my 11 month old baby. I have some smaller wooden balls that I want to present him with as a toy first so he can play with it, like a first level object persistence box. Throw a ball. and it rolls right out. This is literally the same concept as the Level 1…

Great durable toy for sorting and stacking toys

My baby started playing with this when he was 7 months old. He's a year old and still a winner. It is very strong and well made. The balls sit in a plastic/rubber spacer that provides the necessary resistance. He also plays with balls alone, popping them, rolling them and even carrying them around. They practically do not wear out, despite friction on concrete. They are big and really entertained him a lot! also used elsewhere. For example, he puts small items in as a rough sorter and figures…

Favorite Best in Early Development & Activity Toys

I bought this toy for my son for his 1st birthday. Like most toddlers, he enjoys knocking on things. I decided to try and channel that energy into something positive. He immediately arranged the balls and hammered them into the holes. We also have a Haba Rolling Turtles toy and these balls are perfect for that toy too. My son seems to enjoy it very much and will sit and play with it for several minutes at a time. This toy is very well made and durable. My son is rude with his toys and throws…

Cute, simple toy suitable for toddlers

We love this toy - it is well thought out and has been interesting and fun for our 3 year old for over two years. We take it out every once in a while and she still enjoys playing with it for a long time. She got it for her first birthday and we just bought it as a present for our nephew's first birthday. When she was a year old, she loved pushing balls through the holes with her hands and watching them fly out and roll across the wooden floor. For a long time she liked to play without the…

So much fun! Best in Toddler Toys

I bought this toy for my 18 month old daughter (she was only 15 months at the time) for Christmas. That was definitely the hit of the morning! At first she didn't quite understand how to hit the balls with a hammer, but after a couple of weeks she got used to it. For a while, however, she used her hands to push the balls in. It's always the first toy that hits the shelf and every member of my family has had to hit those little balls, including my six year old, my four year old and yes, even us…

Bullets and hammer go together like PB and J!

My son is 18 months old and I have wanted to give him this toy for a long time. We still have a few Plan toys and I'm happy with all of them. I recently bought him a KidKraft Zig Zag Ball Run and he's obsessed with the wooden balls that come with it. Since his favorite toy of all time is the Wonderland Hammerbank, I felt I should really offer him this toy. It arrived today and as always is fantastic quality and aesthetics as are all our other toys. But my son flipped this toy. He was so excited

He loves to! suitable for toddlers and toddler toys

This was the first Plan Toy product I bought and after it arrived I quickly ordered three more (and am eyeing others). How nice to find a toy company that makes quality products. As a conscious consumer, I love that Plan Toys are so eco-friendly. Fun: My son had this toy for the first week (given it to him for his first birthday), I played with it the most. I wanted to show him how to hit with a hammer and he enjoyed watching. He loved hitting the balls with his hands or watching them roll…
