Ease of use - Horses

At 80 everything got harder. I had to put pellets in my pellet stove and lifting a 40 lb bag is the limit of my ability. So now I lug the bag over to the stove, scooping out the pellets until it's full. The other half of the bag is then simply lifted for a second filling.

Durable and very useful

There are two of us and we don't have a farm! One is used to scoop litter into the bowl without having to lift the entire litter box. The other is used in conjunction with an old garbage can to store and distribute salt along the driveway and sidewalk. Solid, well made, cheap and easy to use.

This shovel is tuff!

I have used it for chicken feed, to lay limestone rubble and to bring pine litter to the coop. I did this to see where it would fit best in my arsenal of chicken tools. Very happy with how well it draws on all three experimental media and never feels like it's going to break or bend. Well worth the money and I will be buying 2 more!
