Not worth the money

The camera frame with the license is good, but the video quality is not very strange. What you should see on one side is on the opposite side, like what's on the right is on the left and what's on the left is on the right, it's weird when you go upstairs.

The finish looks terrible after a year.

After a year of driving our truck, the chrome finish is not so good anymore. It's scarred and sweaty and really doesn't look presentable anymore. I wish I could go with another camera that isn't built into cheap metal. The camera itself works great.

Chrome makes this a cool thing.

The whole device is of very good quality. Chrome really shines. The camera has amazingly clear video. On my truck, I can tilt the camera down to show the top of my hitch. Helps to connect to trailer. First I bought a camera that was attached to the license plate frame. It didn't look right so I saw what was built into the frame as one piece. GREAT

170 degree cool

Overall, it has excellent transparency day and night. I bought my original from a Taiwanese company. It took 3 weeks before I received it. days. reason for exchange. I shorted out the old one. It only worked after going through a car wash. So I think it will happen eventually. Good that they are available at such a low price. For those fancy stereos in your car or truck, I would recommend getting them done at a shop. When you don't have a budget or time constraints.

No picture after cutting the green and white hinges

I installed this on my truck to replace another aftermarket camera that failed and I tried it without cutting any of the hinges , just to make sure I have to flip the image. I installed at night and found the night vision image was poor but I had to mirror the image as it is used as a backup camera. I also wanted the grid lines so I cut out both the green and white loops as instructed and now when I lay the truck backwards all I get is a black screen. I know it's a camera because when I unplug…

Is the picture upside down? I can fix it!

ANSWER: If your image is upright. Up/down is ok. But you have left right and left right. CUT WHITE WIRE. Boom! Did! This solid mine. It's different now. I wouldn't call the build quality bad, but the camera mount on the platter wobbles horribly. The included "instructions" are just crap, but a keen eye will tell that the camera comes set to the front view of the car. The silly little table indicates that you can change it to a rear view by cutting the white wire in the loop. It is not clear…

Great camera and great price

I bought two of these for the new CarPlay radio I installed in my car to replace the old one so I could use it with my iPhone can use. When buying anything I did, I wanted to see quality cameras on the front and back of the display. The price of some of them is not cheap at all, so I went with them for now.
