I wish I had bought it a few years ago.

So far I've only used this with Casio LK-100 and Rock Band 3 in Pro mode on Nintendo Wii (2006 model). I don't know if it was luck or luck, but the signal timing worked right out of the box, so I didn't have to try any settings. I just switched to Sister Christian. With Casio (and I'm sure with almost every other MIDI device) I had a choice: mute the keyboard so only the in-game keyboard can be heard, shrink the in-game keyboard so I don't hear all missing notes :( or even change the Casio…

One of the best things I've bought all year!

What a great product! Being able to connect any MIDI instrument to my Wii and use it to play a rock band is one of the few times technology has really blown me away and made my life better. Instead of falling into the trap of buying a pathetic little rock band kit (and paying extortionate prices for it since it's been discontinued), I was able to buy a professional kit (!) at a lower price. than a cheap plastic rock band kit, and use it to play. The best part is that if I ever switched to PS3…

Works great

I pre-ordered this adapter thinking it would support any MIDI keyboard (or drum kit or guitar) and was a bit shocked to read the manual that it only tested and guaranteed work. work with 5 keyboards and 4 drum kits. It wasn't mentioned in the product description, and my keyboard isn't even a synth you see in electronics stores, it's a silent MIDI controller that I bought in the late 1990's to write music on my computer. I started to worry. I really started to worry when I first plugged it in…

  • Good product for the price

Midi adapter points the way forward

If you're looking to add a keyboard to your Rock Band 3, you have a choice between a keyboard and this unit. Since we already had a MIDI-capable keyboard and the adapter was the cheaper option, we decided on this one. This is for the Wii version, by the way. The device is a bit light (but being in Australia it helped me pay for shipping I think.) but then it won't thump like a guitar controller or drum kit. It connects to the console with a long USB cable (about 3m) and to a MIDI instrument…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
