We bought this door for our new house because of the energy efficiency. This is one of the best purchases we've made for the home! It is well made and keeps heat and cold out much better than any vinyl drop down door.

All the animals in my house, cats and dogs, discovered this suction cup. Works very well and keeps cold air out. It's great how we can block it when we go on vacation. It was an expensive affair, but it was worth it in the long run.

This is the best passage and passage door for animals I have ever had. My dogs love it and I love the convenience of being able to lock it securely when not at home. But don't forget to purchase additional PlexiDor Performance slide rails if your device doesn't already have this feature.

This was the first thing we bought and installed when we moved into our house last spring. My SO is a carpenter by trade, so there were no problems installing it. The lock is very handy if you have workers and want to keep curious dogs on the street. We have a 15" JRT/Chihuahua mix, a Beagle and two Ridgebacks (he's 28") and he's holding up well.

I have 3 dogs, a large 75 lb Airedale terrier, a frail old boxer mix and a 15 lb terrier -Mix. It took me about 3 days to mold them upon request for release. I let them back in whenever they want. If I don't want them to get access to the dog door, I just block them with a piece of plywood. This is a solid beautiful wall door that should be installed by a professional handyman. I'm so glad I hired them.

The device is well made, but the design is poor. It is very difficult to open which means it is very difficult to teach a dog to use this door. I also bought a door closer and track for it which is of poor design. I've always felt this dog door would be an easy idea if someone wants to break into your house. I just have a feeling it's not very safe. If this isn't your entryway or something, this is probably a better idea than mine outside the kitchen. However, without hacks.

Not only is this the best dog door we have ever bought, but their customer service is AMAZING! We have 4 German Shorthaired Pointers and after a year and a half of flying through these doors, sometimes at top speed, I believe two of them tried to get in at the same time and ended up falling off the bottom hinges. A simple phone call and new doors are on the way! I wish we could take them with us when we move eventually, but we will DEFINITELY be buying again!

Nice door. REALLY VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL! You will need to trim the top and sides to fit. Difficult to do with a hacksaw. I used a table saw, but most people don't have a table saw to handle it. I am a very experienced carpenter and plumber and have found this product to be very difficult to use. The result is very satisfying, but if you are even a little shy about installing things, go ahead because this product will make you cry to your mother!

love love love this door. We've had it for a few years now and our 65 lb Catahoula and 40 lb Aussie mix pairs well with this thing, but it just keeps rocking like a champ. I swear the dogs don't even slow down when they come through that door. We changed regular valves once a year and they warped and lost their ability to hold heat/cold after about a month. This door offers much better weather protection than a conventional swing door. It's also nice to know I can block it for extra security…
