Disappointing Sealant for Pneumatics & Plumbing

This product failed to impress in the Industrial and Scientific category. While it held up decently in regular use, it could not withstand any drastic temperature changes. The seal broke in several places after a simple pipe replacement, leading to leaks and ultimately requiring costly repairs. The only positive was its easy application process. Avoid this sealant and opt for a more reliable option.

Pros
  • Effective in reducing friction and wear on various surfaces.
Cons
  • Potential to leave stains or marks on surfaces if not applied correctly.

Graphite, not Teflon, but works

Got this to fix a small plumbing problem I was having. An online video showed the guy using something similar to the product photo shown on this product. This is white Teflon rope. So it's like teflon tape, but a rope. After receiving this product I went back and looked at the description and found that it actually says it is Graphite (not Teflon). I've tried this and it works fine. The only problem is that the product is gray (or silver) unlike the photo in the description.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
