Seal Leaks: Push-to-Connect Fittings

I measured my hose with a micrometer - hose diameter (OD) varies between manufacturers. Even though my tubing size was accurate and the end was straight, I was unable to get a good seal on either side of the valve. Also, the pressure limit of the valve is 50psi, which is practically unusable for a compressed air line.

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
Cons
  • Can't remember, but there was something

Very High Quality - Fittings

I am new to using FTP fittings and to be honest the quality and ease of use of most brands I have tried have been terrible. Beduan fittings (I have both this ball valve and a set of fittings) are second to none in both overall quality and ease of use. They are most functional when it comes to the disable option that I found. worth your investment.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Crumpled

What I needed was Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing

I had to work on one of our RV toilets and the flushing system is air activated. I had to turn off the compressor and bleed all the air before I could work on the system. I put this great little valve in the air supply line when I built the system so that in the future I can shut off the air supply to this toilet whatever I need to do. Our system operates at around 60psi and this valve works well for this application.

Pros
  • Pressure fittings
Cons
  • Not as thick as other lockpicks
