If you have a system like mine this is a good compromise. I have a 30 gallon tank at 150psi. The flow rate is an important factor with this dryer. It's not as restrictive as the mini dryers I've tried before. The regulator is more accurate than cheaper models as long as you don't limit it to cheap 1/4" tubing.

I needed to find a unit that could handle up to 175psi and this one fits. I'm glad I went for the T-handle as it's a bit tricky to turn. Vented as you installed it and so far works flawlessly. I also have a terrible compressor in front of me. 7.5 horsepower and an 80 gallon tank. I do everything from sandblasting to LVHP painting. Would recommend.

I bought this for my 60 gallon Kobalt (Lowes) compressor. I had one of their (Kobalt) small 125psi regulators with a plastic knob to adjust the air pressure, and it vented air and didn't trap moisture. And the plastic handle was broken. Cost almost as much as this new one. This is a high performance unit. It doesn't leak air, it cleans and my plasma cutter cuts better.
