Fast and reliable on computers and accessories

Great M.2 Gen 4 SSD You can easily use it as an OS drive with plenty of room for everything else. I personally only use it for storage as I already have an M.2 OS drive. If you're a video or music editor, this would be a great place to store your final products. Fast and reliable. Just make sure your motherboard is Gen 4, B550 or X570 compatible for AMD. If not then go for Gen 3 as these are cheaper and performance is identical.

Transfer speed dropped to a bare minimum while transferring a large file

I bought this to use as a replacement for another drive that was nearing capacity so I started by wiping all the data off the old one drive that was about 1 TB in size. Data. Sometime midway through the ride, the transfer rate dropped from around 1500MB/s (the advertised speed) to under 10MB/s. When moving such a large amount of data, a speed of 10MB/s would take a very long time. I can't determine why this happened, so I don't know if it's because the write cache is filling up or if it's…

Pretty good - 4TB version

I just received a new high end Lenovo 7i laptop with an Intel 11980HK processor, 32GB RAM and an RTX 3080. One of the NVMe slots is Gen 4 and the other is Slots Gen 3. In a Gen 4 slot I get 4995 MB/s read, 3929 MB/s write. On my Gen 3 slot I get 3447 MB/s read and 3467 MB/s write. Original SSDs - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. They came RAID 0 from the factory and gave me 6934 MB/s read and 6866 MB/s write.

Works great on PS5, but get the version without a heatsink!

Suitable for PS5 if you have beta 2.0 system software. FYI your expansion slot is not activated unless you are in beta testing or until the public release is released. The most popular and most expensive brands were sold out. I didn't want them anyway, but I was a little concerned that I might miss important technical requirements if I went for an unofficially approved brand.
