I bought this hard drive almost a year ago in December 2014. This computer it was installed on was used intermittently as I have three computers. I had Windows 8.1 installed and then upgraded to Windows 10 with no problems. The drive was solid until a few days ago. I turned on the computer and it was looking for an operating system! The hard drive has failed. I tried the drive on another computer and it wasn't recognized. As a result, the disc worked about a year later.

I bought two of these to upgrade two 120GB SSDs running in RAID 0 on an Adaptec 6405E RAID controller. So far they've been great. I bought my kids a cheap Windows 8 touchscreen laptop ($250 off) (10 inch display) and it was painfully slow. I connected this SSD to my kid's computer and bam. It's almost as responsive as my thousand dollar car.
