Worked great until it overheated

I used this to capture HDMI video and display it as a zoom camera on my laptop. Worked great for the first 5 hours of use. Then it overheated and basically burned out and now I can't get it to do anything even after letting it cool down.

Pros
  • Short cable HDMI video card
Cons
  • Not sure
