Description of 🧡 Poke-A-Dots Sticky Thimbles by Jillily Studio - Set of 24 Thimbles in a Convenient Tin for Sewing Crafts

24 DOTS packaged in a cute little round tin (great to put your needles and thread in there, too!). Made of durable, non-slip polyurethane. They not only protect your finger, but they are "grippy" so they help you to pull your needle through the tough spots.

Holy Grail on thimbles

As long as you don't take a nap with one of these (like mine - the lint gets on the glue) you can use them multiple times. There was one that I took off and wore 7 or 8 times before throwing it away. Thicker than I expected but easy to get used to. A favorite piece is a small embossed filigree that acts as a stopper for the end of the needle. No slipping, no problems with it. I use one on my middle finger paired with a leather thimble on my thumb (the thimble also fits in the included tin can…

You're just too fat.

Although I wear a quilt thimble, I can't use a longer needle. I love English Paper Piecing and use Sharp - almost twice as long as Between - so I can't wear a thimble. These dots looked like the perfect solution. I went online and watched a video where she said to take a few stitches and you will know exactly where to put that point. I did as she said and the dot landed on my index finger. Unfortunately, this finger is needed to pull the needle to the end of the fabric, and with a point this…

Great thimble pad and nice tin container!

I wanted some extra protection for my finger when sewing my English paper piecing pieces but didn't want a thimble as it gets in the way. Found this and thimbles. I chose them and am very happy with them. It's a bit of textured rubber that can really take the sting of the needle end pushing the needle through and not slip over the texture. I used the same one, put it back on a pretty tin between uses and had no problem with it sticking to my finger again. I've been using it for a week now…
