I applied 3 coats the first time and the next day they were flaking/peeling. This may be due to the quality of the base/top coat or there were too many of them. I bought a base/top coat from Modelones and then applied 2 coats of purple from that set plus a coat of glitter from another brand and it stayed. great for over a week. After 1.5 weeks there was some slight lifting on the sides but it didn't come off as easily as the first time I used this set.

I don't know what the point of spending an hour on gel nail extensions when nail polish chips off as easily as regular nail polish. It's cheap, but not really cheap enough to justify the lack of quality. The bottles are very small and one was broken and was so sticky and weird I couldn't even check the color on my fingernail. Loved the quality of the base and top (my last top was very tacky, this one was very nice and shiny). The colors of the rainbow collection are very pretty and pigmented. The blue/purple/pink was very opaque (like one coat was enough) and the yellow was a little more transparent. (would be nice for mostly transparent nails with a more transparent pastel green) After three coats they were also opaque. I've used gel before, it's way better than going to the salon! The colors are pretty transparent to be honest. They are not as bright as in the photo and are applied in 3 layers. In addition, the colors look different in reality, a bit "childlike". I don't mind applying three coats, but even after three coats my nails are sometimes still visible. The gel really lasts 1-2 weeks so I love that part of it!

Colors are nice but at least 4 or 5 are totally colorless based on the color swatch numbers. Added a photo for more accurate colors.

I recently got into gel polish because I was so tired of regular polishes. This set is great for a great price! Gellen products are the best I have ever worked with, the formula is smooth and easy to apply. The color lasts at least 3 weeks on me without peeling, chipping or fading. The only reason I should delete it is because it has grown. It still shines and always looks perfect, amazing!

I love this product! As a girl who does a lot of manicures, I am very impressed with the quality of these polishes and the price! So far my nails have lasted 4 days without chipping! This is amazing compared to more expensive brands like essie! I usually use essie gel polish but it only lasts a day or two. I am very impressed and would go again! I have a 65w LED/UV lamp that I have used for resin and I thought it would be wise to try and save money save by making your own DIY gel manicure/pedicure. These polishes are great and have good pigment after two light coats. The included base and top work really well. I have about 2 weeks. Sometimes it crashes, but I think this may be operator error, so mine. If this was helpful, give me a thumbs up!

I'm sorry - I never give a bad review on a product but I spent an hour applying the base, color and top coat (in thin ones along the way layers and with the help of a professional light) and leave them even after an hour. I later looked at one of my nails and there was no polish :( then I found all the layers/coatings of nail polish in one piece on my lap. Also. Colors stay like white...not smooth or even.
