Great ceiling speakers. They sound great, spot on if you don't plan on using a subwoofer like I did. I didn't want a mess on the floor. I tried another high end brand and they didn't have a deep tone, they would probably work with a subwoofer. All in all I love these

I was looking for a quality option that could handle my powerful Sony amp and these two cats nailed it. I've added them as rear built-in surround speakers and they've always been a pleasure. If you have the right high power amp, these things will scream and transport you to every movie or show you watch. Great alternative to Bose and they are very heavy.

I have four of these speakers on my porch. All in all, these are good ceiling speakers. They have the soft and smooth sound you would expect from a Polk, but lack the detail of Polk atriums. Some of the speakers sounded thin at first. Turns out the installer had accidentally pressed the "normal/reflective" button. Make sure this button is set correctly for the best sound. Also, one of the four grilles was slightly deformed and continued to fall away from the speaker. I had to glue it in place…

Fantastic speakers. Very easy to install (see warning) and offer excellent, clear, room-filling sound. They're not too big and loud for surround speakers for TV and movies, and they rock the house when they're playing music. CAUTION: Know where your studs and pipes are located and know the height of the ceiling void. I knew 2 of 3 and had to improvise on the drywall. PVC sewer pipes are not inferior to a centimeter. If you cut holes in the right places, installation is not difficult.

After many years I have finally decided to customize the speakers in my 7.1 system.
