Worked well. Just remember to screw the cap onto the flange before installation and be careful not to distort the flange out of the plane of the cap during installation. I bought this for use with dense tuff risers. They state that it won't work with dense tuff, but any do-it-yourselfer will do it. 4 long screws/bolts, a piece of general purpose rope wrapped around the seam and some silicone made a very strong connection in minutes.

I installed two of these adapters along with two 12" risers with Polylok reinforced tops at our "weekend retreat" last weekend. The quality is impeccable and they attach well (snap into place after alignment) with stainless steel screws.
