    Worked as expected good for me

    I have a brick house, slim wood trim, and a glass door. I couldn’t find any mounts to fit my door. There was nowhere on my brick that I could mount the camera due to the positioning it would put the camera in. My door is flanked by large windows. This was a simple install. Screwed right into the door trim. The mount is adjustable and allowed my to angle the camera away from the corner. Saved me from returning the camera.

    Works perfectly for Ring 1

    This mounting bracket worked exactly as advertised and came with all the necessary tools and hardware. Granted, I used a better screwdriver (the one which comes with the Ring itself) and a power drill to make starter holes. Was a simple/quick install. My only initial concern/complaint would be the mounting bracket itself (the small square you screw into your house) wasn't level to the portion that holds the Ring, so I had to mount it to my siding slightly angular to have the Ring be level when…

    Does it purpose: my feedback

    Had an issue where brick was absorbing all of the infrared lighting and we couldnt see anything at night so this piece does the trick. Can also bend the piece downwards at the swivel if u need to angle the ring down as well as right to left. Only issue is my pckage did not come with short screws to attach unit so i had to use the ring supplied screws so it sticks out of the back.

    Included Wrench too Big

    This would have been exactly what I was hoping for, but the wrench included to tighten the nut connecting the two pieces doesn't fit between the two pieces. If you are using the wrench your only option is to leave it loose or putting it at an extreme angle. I opted for using my own sockets and could tighten it down, but if you don't have a long socket set, it would be really difficult to do.

    Just what we needed for narrow mounting position

    We only had a narrow area where our hardwired doorbell was located to mount our Ring Video Doorbell (1st gen). Looked at a bunch of solutions and took a chance on this one. It mounted securely and fit correctly. As a bonus, it allowed us to angle away from the brick a bit for a wider view. We've already recommended to a couple of friends who bought the doorbell on prime day and ran into the same mounting issue.

    Not too bad in my review

    If your putting it on curtain siding it wont move had to put other stuff behind it so its not looking at the deck roof and not where its supposed to be but also dont know how it all works cause dont have wifi yet in my new house.

    This baby works, and it’s the only solution I’ve found for narrow-trim doorways and installing Ring’s enormous video doorbells. In my situation, I wanted to put it over my existing doorbell and use the wires. The normal Ring bracket just wouldn’t fit.     Angle mount is great for narrow locations

    Someone gifted me a Ring doorbell, but it wouldn't fit our door. The space between the door frame and the brick was slightly too narrow. The angle mount fixed that problem.     My original doorbell was mounted on the scalloped door trim. When I mounted the Ring doorbell the back of the case was slightly warped which made it difficult to slide the battery in and I was concerned that it was harmful to the device itself. This bracket solved that problem and was easy to install and came with everything I needed. I only removed one star because it feels a little flimsy since the mount only attaches to the top of the bracket. I noticed in videos that the camera shakes a bit

    The only way I could find to mount a DB2 on a place narrower than the Ring unit itself.

    I needed this to mount the Video Doorbell 2 in a corner on a thin strip of vinyl siding too narrow for the wedges. Combined with a little chunk of wood, it worked out almost perfect. The only thing I don't love about it is the single screw at the pivot point makes it easy to turn the camera side to side when mounted, even after I tried adding a rubber washer. In any case, this product worked where no others would.

    This was a lifesaver and great invention. My doorbell was uncovered and would go offline often when it rained consecutive days. I no longer have a problem with it going offline, sun flares etc.Great product!

    It does the job best in my review

    It works, but 4 stars for a few reasons. Easy to install and use. I mounted mine on the wall upside down of what it shows (pivot/knuckle down instead of up). You will find that if the Ring is pressed hard, you will get lots of deflection on the mount. Turning it upside down means pressing the button reduces the deflection since it's pressing more onto the knuckle part.

    Good. But i need all my screws.

    Almost everything went perfect. 1 of the small machine screws to attach the ring to this base was not threaded at all and i cannot use it. It was a screwhead with a solid cylinder sticking out. Everything else i put up looks like a pro install.
