Syba and Intel D525MW

I bought two of these, one in 2013 and the other in 2015 and I will be buying two more. I am using the card in an Intel D525MW motherboard to provide two additional SATA ports. Obviously this motherboard is problematic with mini PCIe cards. Some cards are not recognized, including this Syba. https://communities.intel.com/thread/24326 A workaround for a different SATA controller was provided in the thread above. I contacted Syba USA and received a warranty return of a card, although I believe…

Dead in my system best in computers and accessories

no response when installing in my foxconn nt-330i. Nothing showed up in the bios. No change in lspci -vv output on Ubuntu 13.10 and 12.04. Replacing the card behaved the same way. Syba support responded quickly, but to no avail, stating: If this device doesn't work on the system, it may not be supported by the operating system. Great product for niche and price

This is a great product and method - especially for the price - to expand a motherboard with limited SATA availability. The speeds are quite fast and in my experience are limited by the slower speed of the server's hard drive. Drivers built into Fedora 21 and Ubuntu.

Awesome Little Card (Syba 2 Port SATA III Mini PCIe Card)

(Syba 2 Port SATA III Mini PCIe Card) Straight to my Intel® Desktop -Mainboard D510MO connected and worked without problems. My motherboard only had 2x SATA2 so adding 2x SATA3 worked perfectly for me, allowing me to add an SSD and 3x 3TB drives for my low power home server. Couldn't be happier. Will be processed if this card fails.
