Save Money. This is not an air conditioner; this is a small USB fan with water/ice compartment / I charged it and tried it on my desk for about an hour on the first day. A cool breeze blew as he sat right in front of him. It turned off so I recharged it overnight. It turns on, the fan runs for 4-5 seconds and turns off. Now he just sits there and does nothing but take a seat. Total waste of time

I understand how portable it is! I needed something for my desk and treadmill and when we go hiking (dry camping) and it's hot in the mountains. I can just try to leave another one in the trailer. I have a treadmill on my desk and the fans run all the time and it's the perfect size and portability for my desktop. Haven't used it in a long time without charging so not sure how long it will last but it lasted a full hour when I was on the treadmill!

Calling it "air conditioner" is an exaggeration, but it can cool a small space. The "technology" is simple: A fan blows air over water or ice, which cools the air and then cools the room. However, this is a very small fan, so it doesn't cool a large area. Rechargeable, so no batteries required. The fan has three speeds, but I don't see why anyone with lower speeds would bother. It's a glorified fan to be honest, but the technology really works to create cool air. I measured that it is 2 degrees colder in front of the fan.
