Expensive but the best

They are very easy to install and can be used multiple times. Of course, if a product is convenient, it usually costs more. But the quality is second to none. Reusable, easy to install, durable, etc.

So far so good - Electrics

They are very easy to use. For a good physically strong connection I've had more success with this than with crimp barrel connectors. I used them to hook up some high beam headlights on my motorcycle. As with any compound of this type, the real test is how well it holds up over time. Since I only installed it a month ago, the jury is still out.

Great connectors for tight spaces

I was really skeptical about how well they would work, more specifically how securely they would connect. In my opinion, a well tightened posi-lock provides a stronger connection than a well crimped butt connector. These are great terminals for use in tight spaces or when you just need to connect quickly. I always prefer a solder and shrink solution, but sometimes the best solution is quick and dirty.

Wow - damn great!

These were very helpful when installing the car radio. The more permanent wires I've soldered to the wiring harness, like stereo wires, but for automotive wires like steering wheel controls I've used these and they've been amazing. I had very little space so even if I wanted to solder I couldn't. I've always hated those crimp connectors, but they were a necessary evil until these came along! Strip the wire, pass it through the cap and tighten the screw. It couldn't be easier or safer! Love her!

Easy to use Good for Electrical

I've used them many times on motorcycles and I've used them to install a new stereo on my pontoon (you know, floating trailer park). Easy to use. While you could probably solder or crimp all of your connections and make the wiring look like it was done by a pro, who the heck would actually tell the difference? Be careful not to cut too much wire - read the instructions! Highly recommended for those who need to quickly install a new stereo in their boat because the wife complains that the…

Establish a connection. on Electric

Posi-Lock and Posi-Tap are the bomb. I've known them for many years and have been using them in place of butt connectors ever since. I love her. They are easy to use and provide a low-resistance, tight and strong connection. It's worth throwing away 3 million Scotch locks and using them alone. Everything is sparkling, so why only four stars? Price basically. I think their prices are insane. They are also almost impossible to find locally. You can find them in NAPA from time to time, but you can

Easy to Use - Electric

Many of these locking and coupling snap connectors have been in use for many years. The beauty is that you literally need no tools to install already stripped wires. These are finger tight connectors. Of course you'll need to strip the ends of the wires you plan to use for locks and faucets. But after your wire ends are stripped, just use your fingers to tighten the ends. You stick the wire through the end of the plastic fastener/socket. And screw it in, making sure the wire touches the…
