I've been careless with glue, especially when assembling shelving from reclaimed wood for the shed or garage. Removing glue from conventional corner brackets is very difficult - with them it immediately peels off. If necessary, they can be soaked - it will not rust. Use them for checking corners, clamps to secure corners, etc. I usually use them to level the shelf, apply sealant, set it in place and screw it together. Fast and easy.

They are very useful as a leveling aid when clamping, gluing or nailing frames in the joinery. The problem is that they aren't all square. The smaller ones were fairly accurate compared to the small machine square I have in my workshop, but the larger ones showed a lot of errors. Great to have in the workshop. These are great little corner clips/positioning squares and I am very happy with them. My son carves a lot of wood, so I know he'll make good use of them, but I had to glue a part of the frame that separated from the other three parts (think of a picture frame that has one side removed).
