🍓 Blue Handmade Stoneware Berry Bowl/Colander - GW Pottery Review

Was given to my sister as a gift. She loves it! I love the creative difference in most drain pans with holes in the bottom. It's also a large size.

Beauty and function is my favorite kitchen item, it keeps small fruits and veggies clean and dry in the fridge or on the counter. Love it!

My husband received these items for his 9th pottery anniversary and was very impressed with the craftsmanship. He also loves strawberries so he will need them a lot next season. Blue glaze is just a beautiful sturdy construction, a pleasure to use and look at :)

I first bought this bowl from a designer at a craft fair over 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it recently broke through our own clumsiness. I'm so thankful I still had his card that I was able to find these bowls at Revane. I have ordered three more in case there are more accidents. Makes a great wedding gift.

I bought it for myself but my 3 year old likes it too. It's strong enough to stand up to him, but not so big that he can't hold it. Brilliant design because you don't need a drip and you can carry it like a cup. I am very happy with the color. I was afraid it wouldn't last much, but it really does! Photos so you can get an idea.

I'm hesitant to go with this because my last berry bowl had a saucer to collect water but this is a much better design. I can plug the holes with one hand to pour in the water, shake the berries really clean, and then drain the water. It uses less water than my previous bowl and I think it cleans the fruit. Bonus: It's so pretty it lives on my countertop.

Colander - Great Buy; It is very durable for regular kitchen use and has been beautifully handcrafted. It is good for straining pasta and rinsing other products. The size is a bit small but perfect for our needs. We are more disappointed that we had an accident one night and it broke as we loved the screen. For any future reader I would recommend buying this product

For a long time I was looking for a new colander especially for washing berries, grapes and cherry tomatoes. It's the perfect all-in-one colander + serving bowl for 1-2 servings. Its wide opening is excellent for washing. I only dip from the drain end to dip and swirl the fruit. My only suggestion is to put little feet on the floor as once drained the floor is usually wet and ends up on my table.
