🌼 Yellow Round Shelf Table by Powell Furniture Review

I bought 2 tables for my bedside table. They are beautiful, good quality and very easy to fit, they are more expensive on the Wayfair website. I liked this purchase.

The positive reviews have confirmed my hope. Beautiful, durable and compact wooden table. It fits perfectly in my small living room and is true to scale with my other furniture. The installation is clear and not complicated.

The color is not the same as in the photo. It's a horrible orange-yellow color. Not as bright yellow as Revain. I had to paint. There is a crack in the table where the leg attaches to the table top. I had to use wood glue, putty on wood, sand before painting. Legs cannot be aligned. The table wobbles. I used a layer to piece it together and things didn't match up.

I would like to say that I liked this table because it is durable and easy to assemble. The color is impressive if you expect a bright yellow because this table is postal envelope yellow. This color has completely changed the atmosphere of our living room, but not for the better. We want to paint it, but we have to remove the paneling first. I'm really disappointed because the table wasn't cheap!

The style is excellent. However, the countertop was poorly finished as it had not been sanded properly and was uneven, the paint had a long streak of bleed and the decorator's rectangles were glued with globs of glue which were painted over instead of being sanded smooth. Three of the legs had nicks or holes that had also just been painted over. The response time for replacement is about one month. What a disappointment!

I really like this table so far. I just put this together yesterday and it makes a great accent/nightstand for our guest bedroom. The color is very nice, lots of pigment but not too bright. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are brackets that need to be installed in the pre-drilled holes in the underside of the table (under the bottom shelf and a lot of the holes don't line up with the holes).
