Description of Power JBR917XPR Evolution Drilled Slotted

Drill holes keep brake rotors up to 180 degrees cooler. Slots keep a clear contact patch between the pad and the rotor. Increased braking performance. Look great behind custom (or factory) wheels

Improved Braking Power - Great Upgrade!

Based on our own experience, this brake system upgrade provided a noticeable improvement in braking power, especially during high speed driving. The drilled and slotted design effectively reduces heat BUILDUP and prevents fade... However the installation process can be a bit challenging for those without much mechanical background. Overall, the Power JBR917XPR Evolution Drilled Slotted brake system is a great upgrade for any performance car..

Pros
  • Improved stopping power and heat dissipation due to drilled and slotted design.
Cons
  • Potentially higher cost compared to traditional brake rotors.

Discs warp easily

I bought these discs and pads 12 months ago for my 2004 Pathfinder. The first set was warped for 3000 km. I checked the runout and it was 0.007." The company quickly sent me a new set. The new set lasted about 10 months (12,000 miles) before they warped. I drive 75% highway, don't tow anything heavy and light too early. The set was previously off stock brakes and they lasted 30k miles. The after sales service was very good but it is a very big job to change the rotors on this car as the rotors…

Pros
  • Improved braking performance
Cons
  • Good but not great
