💡 Bototek Power Strip Surge Protector: 4 USB Charging Ports, 4 AC Outlets, 1250W, 6ft Cord - White Review

In the past, USB ports that weren't specifically wall adapters didn't work to charge my iPhone, so I was glad the ports worked fine here. I also appreciate that one outlet is the father to others to leave room for bulkier plugs (like air conditioner or wifi extension cords). It seems to be of high quality and I've had it for about two months with no problems.

Rated 1 star because the cable isn't 6ft as listed It's 4 inches shorter which doesn't work where I need to use it and now I have to deal with returns playing around. My other surge protector strips advertised as 6ft are full length. The cable on this one is also thinner in thickness than most strips as it has less strength. I also don't see the UL safety rating.

I bought two of these and use them once or twice a month for video production. I plugged the USB power cord into one of the ports last night and it just plugged into the strip. I was so excited! I literally ordered this strip for all the USB inputs and none of them work! It wouldn't be hard to return the one I have, but the problem is I had to shave off the power plug to fit that little hole in our kitchen cabinet. Lots of cons but few pros. I expected more from one of the most expensive network filters on the list in terms of slots and features. Don't expect easy plugging and unplugging from traditional power connectors. The surge protector has metal teeth inside the slot that grip very strongly.
