Sticky Joystick Drifting

I bought this controller to replace my daughter's PowerA which got stuck due to joystick drift. My daughter's PowerA so far has lasted about six months (from Christmas to the end of April). We had a new controller for less than a month and the joystick stuck moving to the left. After researching how to fix this, I discovered that this is a very common problem with the PowerA brand. I sincerely do not recommend this. Luckily, Revain got my money back very well.

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • Long wait

Fork another $20 for the official controller

I am very sad to learn that in the end this controller just isn't worth it. Not only does it lack a battery, which makes it more and more tiring to use over time. But it also includes what I like to call the Nintendo Drift™ and showcases that controller problem everyone wants: drifting (or ghosting, whatever you want to call it). I will not cast this controller in a negative light. It definitely has a lot of positives, but in the end it's so imperfect that it bugs me personally. Ironically…

Pros
  • Not just useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Not the best

UNSATISFIED! fits accessories

This controller is legal. I have pre-ordered and am very satisfied. Every button works and feels good. The controller is very light, so it looks cheap, but without a doubt it works. I would give it 5 stars but I doubt it due to the fact that ALL Switch controllers including joysticks are known to ghost from analog sticks and my wired PowerA controller is showing signs of ghosting. I hope this controller has updated sticks, but we'll see. If there's no ghosting, then this WAAAAA controller is…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Very good alternative to the Pro Controller

I was a bit skeptical that such a cool looking controller would be decent, but I was pleasantly surprised (I bought the Mario version). I tried it on Mega Man 11 and Street Fighter just to see the responsiveness and it passed with flying colors. The extra buttons seem well placed and easy to use, but I haven't tried them yet. It looks like you accidentally hit them, but then again I didn't install them. By the way, the controller is easy to set up. Unlike some other controllers, only one button

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • For the old

Great Switch controller

I already have two official Switch Pro controllers and they are the best controllers on the planet but I wanted to decorate my Switch with two more controllers for me and my college friends could play Mario Kart 8 DX and Smash Ultimate without much expense. PowerA Pro controllers with improved performance are a great option in this situation. They don't include HD vibration, motion controls, an Amiibo NFC chip, and aren't rechargeable (they run on AA), but it's a very fair compromise at $25-$30

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Lasts about TWO MONTHS

I'm 15 years old and I play too many video games. Got this controller about 3 months ago for the extra gaming buttons on the back which actually work pretty well, very easy to program but awkward to reach and press. For the first month I was more in denial, the controller seems very cheap, very very poor quality plastic, only about a month later I found myself regretting not having spent the extra $20 on the real deal to have. I decided to continue with this because the buttons on the back were
