Type of review

I was searching for an easy way to compress valve springs during engine maintenance, and this tool is exactly what i needed. It's durable and well-built, and the adjustable design provides a secure grip on a wide range of spring sizes. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to use at first if you're not familiar with spring compressors .Overall, I`m extremely satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable spring compressor for automotive applications..

  • <Pros>Easy to use and sturdy construction for safe and efficient spring compression.</Pros>
Cons
  • <Cons>May require additional tools for certain types of springs, limiting its versatility and increasing cost.</Cons>

WASTE OF MONEY - DANGER AHEAD

This compressor is A hazardous and terrible product that should not be used under any circumstances. Based on our own experience it is unreliable and poses a high risk to any automotive mechanic... The only advantage is that it can compress a spring, but the dangers it poses outweigh any benefit. The cons of this product are numerous and life-threatening, and should be avoided by all automotive professionals..

Pros
  • Allows safe and easy removal and installation of coil springs on most vehicles
Cons
  • May require some practice to use properly and safely

Fragile, awkward to use

Bought to remove the valve springs on my SBC and it was awkward to use. The springs constantly slip, it is almost impossible to remove them. The latching part that puts pressure on the parts to hold the springs is weak and keeps falling off. Spend your money on the best compressor!

Pros
  • Built to exceed tooling standards
