Bright, but not impressed

I bought this and the 20" 6 mode bar at the same time. The 20" 6 mode is pretty impressive, but this 42" spot/flood just doesn't work great as either. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the description vs reality is just so far off. The pattern and penetration isn't necessarily bad, but it's not as good as described, and it's not any better than something half the price. I should have returned it, but the way I installed it just isn't worth the hassle. It's not a "bad" light, it's just not

High Quality but bad light spread.

I wanted to like this product. The quality is very good and it is extremely bright for a very small portion of the beam. As shown in the pictures, this light provides a rectangle shaped super bright spot that is about 1/4 the size that it should be. So you end up with an extremely bright center section, with ZERO transition to the wider focused LED. I find this way too hard to use practically as you would have to have your light bar perfectly adjusted to get the super bright rectangle part…

This thing is bright,I thought I had bought a curved bar, this is obviously straight, but was so impressed with the build quality I just installed it.

Perfect for lower bumper hidden bar for 21 tacoma

This light bar fit the caliraised mounting brackets perfectly. The light bar is very bright. It is semi wide spread but the center LEDs definitely enhance your high beams nicely.

Good bright light bar. Bad brackets.

Would give 5 stars but, unfortunately the brackets themselves are not strong enough to hold up with the road vibration.almost lost my light. Both brackets cracked in half after one week.

Regret this purchase

Out of the box the instructions show 3 different mounting options. The first option shown is a "slide" bracket. The other options are a bottom mount and a side mount. The slide bracket is not included with the light, it is only available as a separate purchase. My application left me no other choice than the bottom mount. The bottom mount just will not stay firm. Loosens up after 30-40 miles even with medium (blue) loc-tite. Also, the bottom mount leaves very LITTLE adjustment. Had to adjust my

Not disappointed good for me

Hidden behind the grille. Everything is light up in front of me. My center of the 3 spot lights is completely blocked nothing I could do about that where I installed it. Just came off a night and this would had been everything I needed. I didn't want to go super cheap but the big names are ridiculously expensive. The included wiring harness has plenty of extra cable and saves you some money too. I took out the switch and connected to my highbeam positive. Couldn't be happy for the money spent…

Far brighter than I expected

Bought the 22” version. Far far brighter than my 70$ 55” lightbar.The two projectors in the center punch out there and make a noticeably different beam pattern. I wish there were 3 instead of two.Otherwise, this is a great lightbar. On my 4x4 I’m not even close to being able to overdrive this single light bar. Worth the cost.
