Clean With Care - Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

They filter ash very well and impressively. A warning: claim they are washable, which is true, but don't try to clean them. I soaked my first one in hot water, everything was fine until I brushed the material together to remove the black stain and the material fell apart. I look like I just got carried away with my cleanse. I blow air through them all the time and can just keep at it.

Filters dust very well and limits leakage.

Powersmith Vacuum Cleaner I'm happy to say that this is the best vacuum cleaner on the market. I've used other brands and a lot of ash dust has gone through the filter and covered the house. The Powersmith filter works great. I no longer have dust flying around the house. The filter can be washed and reused. I've been using the first filter for about 3 months, I've never washed it. Just shake the doors. I would highly recommend this system to anyone wanting a good value, quality vacuum.

Filter as a filter.

This $$ thing is pretty much the only available filter for my vacuum. I use my oven 24/7 during the winter months. Even if it says "washable," don't. This will destroy the fabric part of the filter. My vacuum cleaner is next to the fireplace insert and we use it every day to mop up the ash that falls out in front of the stove. When emptying the furnace of ash, this vacuum is not used. We use a small shovel and an ash pan. We have had the same filter for 2 years and only had to replace it due to

Buyer at his own risk

The filter bowl prevents fly ash from entering the engine filter. Due to the fine ash particles, dust clogs faster than vacuuming other types of waste. That's why I bought it to complement the vacuum cleaner. I always had a clean one on hand. They are easy to clean, just soak them in warm water with liquid dish soap and then rinse with clean water. Let dry. Now for the BAD: after 3 uses and 2 washes this filter is falling apart. The other not yet. Of course I'm a week out of my warranty if he…

Look closely! for filter

My disappointment was partly my own fault for not thoroughly inspecting this filter immediately after removing it from its sealed packaging. The seams were sewn in two places very close to the edge of the fabric. On first use, the concrete dust passed through unhindered and completely clogged my new vacuum, causing the thermal overload feature to shut down the unit. It had to be completely disassembled and cleaned with compressed air before it could be used again. If you purchase one of these…

There is no quality control.

PowerSmith LOVE, but filters leave something to be desired. They work really well if you manage to get one that doesn't have a hole in it. I bought two (one spare, the other came with the vacuum) and BOTH had holes in the seams where they weren't lined properly. This filter only works to keep dust and ash in the vacuum cleaner when it isn't. have no holes. It's a pretty simple concept. After being repaired at a local repair shop, one of the repaired items is already worn again due to a short…

Excellent filter and no dust

I bought an excellent chimney/pellet vacuum to match this filter and ordered a replacement filter. In fact, I tried to spoil the filter that came with the vacuum by sucking up the embers from the pellets, even some of the corn embers that were still smoldering. I didn't even get halfway decent filter discoloration. SUPER high quality to the point that I probably shouldn't have bought extra. Cleaning is really easy, just touch the easily removable filter on a hard object outdoors (upwind) and…
