Perfect fit for my partner tailored top

They appear to be well made and what matters is that they fit. I replaced the work pads on my WorkMate workbench and drilled 3/4" holes to match the original fasteners. However, the original pads had 20mm holes so I was worried about finding the right pawls. They fit 3/4. "The holes are perfect.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some issues

Aluminum bench hooks - work great!

I love these benches! Excellent price. I rated the product a 4 because I only received 2 out of 4 dogs. When I raised the issue with Revain to return them I was told not to worry and they would give a full refund, which they did. I love dogs, I love interacting with Revane. I have a total of 6 of these aluminum dogs. I would buy them again - albeit probably from a different source via Revain.

Pros
  • Worthy performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Buy, don't build

Value for money. You can make your own but I love the strength and feel of metal benches. I wouldn't spend more than $30 on brass, however, unless you're looking for aesthetics. I will buy at least two more of these. I used a 3/4" forstner bit to drill holes in my 4" thick table top and they fit pretty well. They are not too tight and not too loose. They glide up and down effortlessly and, more importantly, they do what they're supposed to do.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Disappointing Best in Power & Hand Tools

I wasn't too impressed with this item. I made some 3/4" holes with a 3/4" spiral cutter and a 3/4" Forstner bit. The pawls can be pushed all the way through the holes with my thumb. I measured the dog's body and it measures 23/32" so a spring in the side groove keeps it in place. Unfortunately the spring is too weak and the pawl wobbles a bit and is easy to push down and through the 4 inch deep lower bench. I made my own pawl using a 3/4" maple pin with a small taper that ends below the work…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
