FUNCTION: Safely prevents accidental woodworking shop power tools from restarting after an outage, and performs exceptionally as a safety switch upgrade or replacement. POWERFUL: This power tool safety switch is professionally rated for 1/2 horsepower motors; 120-Volt; 16-Amp; cUL listed. FEATURES: Simple, straight-forward surface mount design with wire knockouts and screw holes for quick mounting, plus color coded buttons for easy operation. EASY TERMINATION: Large red (panic) button effectively terminates power until you manually turn it back on.

Perfect solution for electrical safety

According to my experience, this magnetic switch is the perfect solution for ensuring electrical safety. The switch is very easy to install and works efficiently. The switch mechanism is very reliable and switches off the power immediately when there is a fault. The design is very sleek and enhances the overall look of the switchboard .However the product is slightly expensive when compared to other magnetic switches available in the market. plastic looks just a little on the cheap side, but then again very on the cheap side. Works well, I've tested it extensively and the 'panic button' works exactly as intended and if you lose power when you turn the switch on the magnetic switch will stay off when power is turned back on. First I was wondering why you need two switches, the answer is that you have to turn the panic button to make it pop up before you can use the green "on" switch again, the "off" button below the green button…
