PowerTye Buckle Tie Down Heavy Duty Latch Exterior Accessories Review

Having owned these belts for several months I would not recommend them. Something in the material of the strap or the teeth on the locking mechanism is not enough to maintain tension. It was well made, but I can't trust it to protect my cargo hold.

I bought this because of the good reviews here on Amazon. I just opened them up and couldn't be more impressed with their design, quality and durability. I'm going to ditch my old 1 inch straps and buy more of these. Put simply. GREAT quality, made in America!

This is an excellent product made in the USA. I use it to keep my canoe close to the ceiling in my garage. I also use them when transporting canoes. I like the closed hooks, solid cam and wider strap. PowerTye is the only brand I will buy from now on. Rather spend a little more and buy a decent bracelet, you won't regret it.

Was looking for "good" ratchet straps for my pickup truck and really enjoyed them. The 2" wide straps are very strong and won't tangle. The locking buckles hold tight and again the 2 inch size is a plus. For example, they are 10 feet long and have covered every item I wear so far. Very high quality product made in the USA.

Made in America IMPORTANT. These straps were a little clunky at first, but as they wore out they became extremely easy to use and VERY durable. Made for the long haul. We use ours for life in the mountains. If you're looking for a good, sturdy tie-down kit that can take a beating and clean up well with a hose blast, do yourself a favor and buy a set of these.

These harnesses surprised me with their weight and durability. The snap closure on the hooks means that even if the load shifts and the straps are no longer taut, they will lock onto the truck. The straps are easy to tighten and loosen and are more comfortable than ratchet straps. I've only used them to hold the mattress and box spring in my Chevy truck and they've been spotless.

Just like those awful buckle straps you used to use but on steroids and they don't suck. Simply heavier, thicker, stronger, better in every way and made in the USA. If you look at pictures of belts, they don't do them justice. It's like looking at a picture of Shaq himself. There's no context to see how much better they are without the regulars alongside them. Spend a few euros more and you won't regret it.
