Very easy to install, no audio cable soldering repair required, all you need is a knife, screwdriver and a flame (for cleaning copper wires under the jacket before you cut them plug into the connectors). Works just as well as the damaged original plug, sound quality is good.

Screw terminals L and R work properly. The grounding screw clamp didn't allow the wire to be inserted far enough to hold it. The included mini screwdriver could not open it. I had to insert a small awl into the terminal's slot and pry it open enough to fit a 22 gauge jumper wire. I am very disappointed.

I accidentally snapped the 3.5mm jack on my headphones so I thought this would solve the problem. The wires were a little difficult to place but such thin wires. When I tightened the screws and tested the headphones with the adapter, everything worked, but only on the left side. I can only assume it was a problem with the headphones themselves and not the adapter as the headphones are old and the cable has started to come loose in a couple of places at the top - the wires stayed well clamped in
