Inexpensive and perfect for golfing

These balls are amazing, I expected them to be lightweight foam but they are actually quite dense and perfect for golfing without breaking anything around the house. Yes, they will break a glass of drink or a small vase of flowers if you hit them directly or with powerful ricochets. I love these balls. They bounced off the wall and slapped my face several times, but without pain.

Doesn't look like a golf ball at all!

I was consumed by all the positive reviews. If you want to exercise in your backyard, don't waste your time with styrofoam balls. While a particular hit or contact with a real golf ball will induce spin, most foam ball shots seem to snag the club's surface and cause bizarre flight. My goal was to practice and learn. These balls teach me nothing. Plastic sniffer bullets work better.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing

Great tutorial to use with the Galileo target!

They are exactly as described and as the name suggests they mimic the flight of a golf ball pretty closely. I use them to work on chipping and full swing so I don't have to drive over an hour to the driving range and spend tons of dollars on bucketfuls of balls. I usually chase tru flights with some real golf balls just to boost my confidence by using the real thing! I'm using a Galileo target and a target cage I built for the target.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Security

Fit for my purpose - not for golf

Some of my projects have protruding spikes that need to be covered and made visible. For example, I used protruding studs in the frame of a swamp cooler so I could close it off in the off-season by attaching a piece of Styrofoam to the hole. I use 1/4" screws that protrude from the bezel so only clips are required to hold the foam in place. But exposed screws pose a safety hazard. These nerve-racking styrofoam golf balls solve that problem by punching a few small holes in them and seating them…

Pros
  • Decent performance

They fly a fair bit further than I expected

When hit by a swing, they definitely go a long way. In my opinion too far. I was hoping for something to practice on and then go to the other side of the lawn and smack them back, but if you throw a full punch you'll knock on your neighbors' nearest door to pick them up. If you're struggling with slice or hook, or want to practice hitting different types of spin/roll, then this is for you. When I tried it just for fun, I was able to change the trajectory almost 90 degrees. And with the 7 iron I

Pros
  • Easy setup

  • There are other interesting options.
