More than slightly disappointed with the cutting - these seem to chop / crunch through the hair versus a smooth clean cut. I'm actually NOT using these in favor of 15 year old dull shears that way outperform these new ones. I was planning one day to take them to a local shop that sharpens scissors hoping they come back usable. Not only do I cut my own hair with these wonderful little scissors, but am able to trim my lhasa/maltese mix dog's hair which is always getting matted. They are sharp and just the right size to hold while doing my own or the dog's grooming.

A little pricey, but worth it for quality hair shears. Very sharp and very precise. Sure you can get Chinese-made scissors for a lot less, but they won't perform this well. It's a tired cliche, but sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
