Do not buy from Parts

Do not buy, ready to use. I ended up taking the car to the dealership and had to spend $600 to realize I had bought a brand new starter motor.

Great starter at a great price.

Worked and fits my 2004 BMW 330CI perfectly. My car started on the first try. The price is great and the build quality is good.

2004 x3 3.0 1 inch longer than stock

A little longer than the one I took out struggled a bit. If you have the money, buy the exact size and save yourself a few hours. But it works fine.

Hose can be larger than OEM

Used in 2005 X3 3.0i. The case is slightly longer than the factory device that came out. This made setup a bit more cumbersome as there is very little room to work. Once set up, however, the setup is good. Started straight away and works great.

Quality product, plus it's brand new, not refurbished.

Worked well, there's plenty of room for this starter despite being a little larger than standard (it annoys me when people complain about the dumbest things) until one person complains about it failing after a month ( pull yourself together) anything happens, you still have 2 years of factory warranty, next time buy from your local parts store and spend twice as much, if it fails you can return it. Also, it is a refurbished unit and not brand new from a parts store. I would dice with these guys
