Still working after 1.5 months. Sounds weird at startup. A bit crap compared to the original. The only problem I had was that the very first time I started the car I knocked on it. After that it works fine.

Does not match description or picture. Unfortunately, when installing in a car, this is an important problem! The main bolt holes for attaching to the engine are in different locations and orientations. Obviously not the same product and not the one in the photo! Very annoying! now my car will be idle for a few more days until i get the right part! bad customer service.

Just got this starter. Came in original packaging with some instructions and papers. Began to install and noticed the screws don't go through the mounting holes! WHAT? I had to buy a drill with a 1/2 chuck and enlarge the holes. After surviving this fiasco, I was able to install it and it worked as advertised. The price for this starter is unbeatable! I've seen remanufactured starters for almost triple the price of this new starter! Hopefully this starter will hold up. We will see!

Fits 2004 Chevy Venture MPV as described. Before installing it, I compared it with the original and didn't notice a big difference in quality. Obviously the bolt pattern matches, as does the gear on the starter that meshes with the flywheel, otherwise it won't start. There were no issues or problems with installation, great price. especially if you are a prime member and get it in 2 days. It's almost half the price compared to your local auto parts store.

Bought this starter for my 2000 Buick Century for less than $60. I was initially skeptical as the price was low compared to local vendors who sell entrees for $120+. The starter has been installed for about a week now and works every time. I'm so glad I bought this brand of Starter. I highly recommend these guys and their products. Now you understand, from time to time you probably get the bad part, that's life, these things happen, but I'm one on one and I will be buying from these guys again.

Failed after 10 months trying to get a warranty replacement was a nightmare. Revain gave 3 different phone numbers and 1 email address for the company and none of them were correct. Eventually, the Revain manager accepted the replacement, for which he deserves a lot of thanks. But the heartache over trying to contact the company was overdone, between the fact that the website had no contact information and Revain had the wrong contact information I would exercise caution before purchasing this…

The product feels like OEM quality, very heavy construction and also very quiet compared to the original starter, I found too late, to prevent oil from dripping/leaking out of the starter as the oil will damage the motor windings if it gets in. I had to use a large drill to enlarge the bottom mounting hole a bit, as it only took a minute I'm not deducting a star for that. Everything went as expected and this thing is very attractive. Definitely happy with the purchase. Thing looks good, comes with new fittings, works very well. When I highlight my negative encounters, it's important to note that each can be very specific to my vehicle. The solenoid ground cable made it incredibly difficult for me to bend my arm for the tiny nuts.
