Misfire after about 50 miles

I bought these coils for my 2010 gmc Acadia and they worked fine for about 50 miles after which my check engine light started blinking. I had to take it back to my mechanic who told me his diagnostic tool said I had a misfire on coil 5 which had just been installed the day before. I had to replace this new coil with another one.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Compatibility

Didn't take 24 hours. Update they gave me a full refund

Don't buy this. installed and in less than 24 hours it failed. Thanks to this spool I had to remove the inlet twice and spend a lot of time looking for a problem with a new spool. Update they gave me a full refund so I changed my rating because they support their product and took care of my issue.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Inexpensive replacement

They were a lot cheaper than AC Delco OEMs. They worked fine but after a short drive I managed to blow out the head gasket on the engine due to not checking/filling the radiator after installation. A lesson for others - check all levels - oil - water - battery - tire pressure! It won't cost you much and might save you an engine replacement as it might cost me.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Quality

Sometimes it's not worth buying a cheap part.

I installed this after my car misfired on cylinder 5. After installation, the engine ran smooth and read no codes. I was driving to work and the check engine light came on again. I hooked up my computer to it and it says misfire on cylinder 5. So I had to buy another one at the parts store and it worked fine. So I got a ride out of this coil pack.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Great price on coils

Recently purchased a 2010 Cadillac SRX with 136,000 miles and slightly rough idle. The OEM coils were around $250 and these around $80. The price difference prompted them to give it a try. The pulled out spark plugs and coils turned out to be original spark plugs and coils. Candles were worn and had soot. I installed new spark plugs and these coils. She started and now runs like a batta! I'll update in about 6 months so you know how they hold up.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

40 or wrong item delivered

Poor quality or wrong item was sent to me the day I installed them on my car shortly after I started having problems with Miss Far Intermediate and Misfire Detect Me worked on the car for about a month or about two months struggling with this problem until I researched and retired and put my old parts back in the car and from then on the car worked fine, ran a multimeter resistance test and got the numbers or values I got from my old coil packs were completely different values than the values I

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to tell
