I wasn't sure how well this would work. Impressed, it seems to be working fine. This went on for some time. I would buy this again. The price is good too

This product is designed to purify water. The water is clear for several weeks. The product is dusty black, so be careful when handling carbon. Without smell. waiting light. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a bang. I had to buy separately.

I use this in both my GFO reactor and in media bags for my reef aquarium. It's grainy, just the right size to not get through the media bags and my GFO reactor. In granular form, it has a large surface area. After 48 hours my water is crystal clear. A good thing.

Works well in my sea reef aquarium. I used to buy more expensive coals and they became too expensive. This product contains dust but washes off easily before adding it to the tank and appears to be working well. I have nothing to add other than that it works and if you are concerned about how 'regular' charcoal might react in a reef aquarium, that's fine!

This is SO much better product than the one I used with my Pagoda Fountain Aftermarket Reusable Water Filter. The activated carbon that came with the small filter was difficult to fill properly due to the granule size. Now I can get such better filtration with barely a grain of carbon in the water. You still need to rinse the filter before collecting it; but even then you only get gray "bleed" from charcoal. I'm not falling out and the bleeding stops in less than a minute.
