🥗 Efficient and Space-Saving: Prepworks by Progressive Collapsible Salad Spinner - 4 Quart Review

I had an old progressive salad bowl that I liked, but it was badly worn out from washing it in the dishwasher too many times. I took it out of the box and started hand washing it. I tried expanding the larger bowl and the plastic was peeling away from the silicone. Okay, that's just me, I'll try again with a new one. The same thing happened. Unfortunately I have to give up and try another product.

I was glad I bought this salad bowl as I'm short on storage and could fold it up for storage. I don't even have it used for the week when the seams on the outer (collapsible) bowl began to unravel.I stopped folding it to prevent further separation but soon it failed to hold together and is now leaking.The limited storage function became quickly defeated and the spinner is useless..disappointment :-(

This foldable salad bowl saves space. It is 10.5 inches in diameter. When folded, the height is 3 inches. When expanded there are 6. The outer bowl is nice enough for serving. It's made of durable plastic and the spinner does its job well. I deduct 1 point from the overall rating because there is no pen included. I've had one of these for about 4 years and really liked it. It stayed flat, was easy to clean and unlike others has a bowl that can be soaked. It was used very often, so I wasn't surprised when after 4 years the plastic started to wear out - and it was decided to replace it with the exact same one. I bought my original in and out of bed bath and enjoyed their great exchange policy every time the previous ones broke: usually the cord broke due to abuse or a possible crack in the plastic.
