I purchased this product to replace the same product that I have had for over 20 years. I assume this oe will last just as long. I use it for nutmeg, garlic, ginger, parmesan cheese, cinnamon and anything that needs grinding. It has two sizes. love love love

I've had one of these for about 10 years and it's one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. This is the easiest zester I have ever used and it is very easy to clean. The two sharp blades fold into the handle like knife blades, preventing them from becoming dull when rubbing against other items in the kitchen drawer. I usually buy this for all bridal showers or for a wedding gift.

Pros: Compact. Folds into a double-sided case and prevents the grid from damaging things it touches during storage. Good quality plastic. Feels solid. Disadvantages: Compared to micro flat graters, grating with this grater is difficult and uncomfortable. I tried to peel the lemon, but the grater (green) grabbed the surface of the lemon and made it impossible to grate smoothly.
