Take the time to install

Strike the entire connector with an object the size of the connector. I only had problems with the hammer. I then used a 4x4 piece of wood as a bumper and hit the wood in the middle and the plugs popped out immediately. great look and figure!

Does Not Fit 2006 GMC 2500HD Frame

They are too big for the round crossbar holes in my truck frame. Maybe they fit in new trucks? Frame may be different after 2007. Gave them to a friend who has a newer truck to see if he can use them.

Clean guide frame and protect against rust.

Works great. I pressure washed the tubes of these plugs and let them dry. I then sprayed some heavier oil into the pipes to get rid of the rust. Then I smeared some silicone around the OD of the gaskets and installed them to seal out the grease and get rid of any contaminants.

Great Product!: Body

Well made, easy assembly, tight fit. Candles certainly give the car a more elegant look. I like that these plugs prevent sand and dirt from building up in the channels; But more than that, since we live in a very rural area, I no longer have to worry about pests building a nest or nests in these canals. Added connector for 2015 Chevy High Country 2500 HD Silverado Crew Cab.
