I was just comparing the construction and quality of this silicone sling. First, it's well made compared to my bottom handleless Williams Sonoma pressure cooker. The grip on this particular grip sling is efficiently manufactured with a unique locking feature made from a denser silicone material. Something like a rectangular button. It's also of better quality than most cheap fakes, which are often made of thinner silicone that's easy to wear.

Loved this little tool, no more hot steam burns :) I've used it to lift medium sized pyrex bowls out of an instant pot. I also tried the same thing when I put the yogurt in a separate bowl. The glass bowls are non-slip and sit firmly on the silicone material. The silicone handle was light and strong enough to hold the jar without much shaking. However, please use mittens/gloves to avoid burns or accidents when using the quick decompression or removing containers immediately after cooking etc. I

I have already bought silicone jacks with handles, these are flat with small legs and I didn't like them. While they didn't take up much room in my Instant Pot, they were fragile and awkward to use. I ended up just throwing them in a drawer and never using them again. However, THIS silicone sling is AMAZING. The best sling in the world. I bought mine in October but wanted to make sure I've used it enough to give an honest and accurate review. Well, I've used it a lot since then, and guess what? I love it. It has completely replaced my Red Oxo stand. It's easy to use and clean (straight in the dishwasher) and while you may not be sure at first if it's strong enough, I made a 4 pound piece of chest piece and it held the weight. I've also cooked a whole chicken and steamed a whole head of cauliflower.
